Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 So woe to those who pray 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
