Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 Who would be seen (at worship) 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
