Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 and who does not urge the feeding of the poor? 3 So woe to those that pray 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
