Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 who show off, 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
