Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 [But] who are heedless of their prayer - 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
