Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 Then such is the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness), 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 So woe to those that pray 4 but are heedless in their Prayers, 5 those who want only to be seen and praised, 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
