Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
