Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 His substance availed him not, nor that which he earned. 2 He will suffer in a blazing fire 3 And his wife, the portress of fire wood, 4 A rope made from palm fibre around her neck! 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
