Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 and his wife, laden with firewood 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
