In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. 1 Neither his wealth nor his gains will avail him. 2 [In the life to come] he shall have to endure a fire fiercely glowing; 3 together with his wife, that carrier of evil tales, 4 Upon her neck a halter of strongly twisted rope. 5
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
