Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Perish the hands of AbiLahab, and perish he! 1 His wealth did not avail him, nor his acquisitions. 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 upon her neck a rope of palm-fibre. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
