Thorns (Al-Masad)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 He shall soon burn in fire that flames, 3 And his wife too, who carries wood (thorns of Sadan which she used to put on the way of the Prophet (Peace be upon him), or use to slander him). 4 upon her neck shall be a rope of palm-fibre. 5
God the Almighty always says the truth.
