Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I take refuge of the One Who creates the Daybreak.” 1 from the evil of what He has created, 2 And the evil of evening darkness when it overspreads, 3 from the evil of the women who blow on knots; 4 And from the evil of an envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
