Daybreak (Al-Falaq)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak, 1 From the evil of that which He created; 2 “And from the evil of the matter that darkens when it sets.” 3 From the evil of sorceresses who blow incantations on knots, 4 From the evil of the envier when he envies. 5
True are the words of God the Almighty.
