O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil your (part of the) covenant, I shall fulfil My (part of the) covenant, and fear Me. 40 And believe in what I have sent down which verifies what is already with you; and do not be the first to deny it, nor part with it for little gain; and beware of Me. 41 Confound not truth with falsehood, nor knowingly conceal the truth. 42 Be steadfast in prayer, pay the religious tax (zakat) and bow down in worship with those who do the same. 43 ۞ How is it that you enjoin others to follow the Right Way, but forget it yourselves, though you read the Scriptures? Have you no sense at all? 44 And seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard except for those who prostrate before Me with sincerity. 45 who reckon that they will meet their Lord and that to Him they will return. 46
