Al-Baqarah 5 of 40
O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil your (part of the) covenant, I shall fulfil My (part of the) covenant, and fear Me. 40 And believe in what I have sent down which verifies what is already with you; and do not be the first to deny it, nor part with it for little gain; and beware of Me. 41 And do not mix up the truth with the falsehood, nor hide the truth while you know (it). 42 Establish your prayers, pay the obligatory charity, and bow with those who bow. 43 ۞ How is it that you enjoin others to follow the Right Way, but forget it yourselves, though you read the Scriptures? Have you no sense at all? 44 And seek help in patience and prayer; and verily it is hard, except unto the meek. 45 Who are certain that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him. 46
