O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My Covenant with you, and fear none but Me. 40 And believe in that which I have sent down confirming that which is with you, and be not the first to disbelieve therein, and barter not My revelations for a small price, and Me alone shall ye fear. 41 Confound not the Truth with falsehood nor conceal it knowingly. 42 Attend to your prayers, give the zakat [prescribed alms] and bow down with those who bow down. 43 ۞ What! do you enjoin men to be good and neglect your own souls while you read the Book; have you then no sense? 44 And seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard except for those who prostrate before Me with sincerity. 45 Who know that they will have to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are returning. 46
