Al-Nesaa 10 of 24

O believers, take precautions, and advance in detachments, or go all together in a body. 71 There is certainly among you he who would linger behind (from fighting in Allah's Cause). If a misfortune befalls you, he says, "Indeed Allah has favoured me in that I was not present among them." 72 But if good fortune comes to you from God, such a person is sure to say - just as if there had never been any question of love between you and him: "Oh, would that I had been with them, and thus had a [share in their] mighty triumph!" 73 ۞ Let them wherefore fight in the way of Allah those who have purchased the life of this world for the Hereafter. And whosoever fighteth in the way of Allah, and is then slain or overcometh, We shall vouchsafe unto him a mighty hire. 74 And what reason have you that you should not fight in the way of Allah and of the weak among the men and the women and the children, (of) those who say: Our Lord! cause us to go forth from this town, whose people are oppressors, and give us from Thee a guardian and give us from Thee a helper. 75 Those who believe, fight in the Cause of Allah, and those who disbelieve, fight in the cause of Taghut (Satan, etc.). So fight you against the friends of Shaitan (Satan); Ever feeble indeed is the plot of Shaitan (Satan). 76
