Verily! Allah forgives not (the sin of) setting up partners in worship with Him, but He forgives whom he pleases sins other than that, and whoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, has indeed strayed far away. 116 In His place they invoke only females (the pagan deities); and instead of Him they invoke Satan the obstinate rebel 117 Allah hath accursed him. And he said: surely I shall take of Thine bondmen a portion allotted. 118 "I will mislead them, and I will create in them false desires; I will order them to slit the ears of cattle, and to deface the (fair) nature created by Allah." Whoever, forsaking Allah, takes satan for a friend, hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest. 119 The devil promises them and arouses desires in them; and the devil does not give them promises except of deceit. 120 For these people, their abode shall be Hell and from there they shall find no way of escape. 121 But those who believe and do good works We shall admit them to Gardens underneath which rivers flow, and there they shall live for ever, the promise of Allah is true. And who is truer in speech than Allah! 122 Not your desires, nor those of the People of the Book (can prevail): whoever works evil, will be requited accordingly. Nor will he find, besides Allah, any protector or helper. 123 And whoever does some good deeds, be it a man or woman, and is a Muslim, will be admitted to Paradise and they will not be wronged even to the extent of one sesame. 124 Who is better in faith than one who submits himself wholly to God, acts righteously, and follows the religion of Abraham, the upright in faith, whom God chose for a friend? 125 And to Allah only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth; and Allah has control over all things. 126
