God does not forgive that compeers be ascribed to Him, and absolves all else whatsoever He will. And he who associates compeers with God has indeed wandered far astray. 116 They invoke in His stead only females; they pray to none else than Satan, a rebel 117 God condemned Satan when he said, "I will certainly take my revenge from Your servants. 118 And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah." And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss. 119 The devil promises them and arouses desires in them; and the devil does not give them promises except of deceit. 120 For these people, their abode shall be Hell and from there they shall find no way of escape. 121 But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness,- we shall soon admit them to gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,-to dwell therein for ever. Allah's promise is the truth, and whose word can be truer than Allah's? 122 It is not your desires, nor the desires of the People of the Book, that shall prevail. Anyone who commits evil will be rewarded accordingly. He will not find any protector or patron for himself besides God. 123 Any believer, male or female, who acts righteously, will enter Paradise and will not suffer the least bit of injustice. 124 Who is better in religion than he who surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good (to men) and followeth the tradition of Abraham, the upright? Allah (Himself) chose Abraham for friend. 125 For, unto God belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and indeed, God encompasses everything. 126
