The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, 2 the Merciful, the Most Merciful, 3 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee (alone) we worship; Thee (alone) we ask for help. 5 Show us the straight way, 6 The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
