The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful 1

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. 2 the Merciful, the Most Merciful, 3 Lord of the Day of Judgement. 4 Thee alone do we worship and of Thee alone do we seek help, 5 (Lord), guide us to the right path, 6 the path of those whom Thou hast blessed, not of those against whom Thou art wrathful, nor of those who are astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
