We had certainly sent Noah to his people, and he said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a tremendous Day. 59 The great ones among his people replied: "Verily, we see that thou art obviously lost in error!" 60 He said: O my people! there is no error in me, but I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds. 61 I am delivering unto you my Sustainer's messages and giving you good advice: for I know [through revelation] from God what you do not know. 62 Does it seem strange to you that a reminder from your Lord should be sent to a man, from among you, to warn you so that you might receive mercy?" 63 Then they belied him; thereupon We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and drowned those who belied Our signs; verily they were a people blind. 64
