We certainly gave the Book to Moses, but differences arose about it: had it not been that a word had gone forth before from your Lord, Judgement would indeed have been passed on them then and there: yet they are in grave doubt about it. 110 Surely each one of them -- thy Lord will pay them in full for their works; He is aware of the things they do. 111 So remain on a right course as you have been commanded, [you] and those who have turned back with you [to Allah], and do not transgress. Indeed, He is Seeing of what you do. 112 And do not incline to those who are unjust, lest the fire touch you, and you have no guardians besides Allah, then you shall not be helped. 113 And establish thou the prayer at the two ends of the day, and in the neighbouring watches of the night verily virtues take away vices. That is a reminder unto the mindful. 114 And have patience, for Allah does not waste the wages of the righteous. 115 But why were there not among the generations before you those possessing understanding, who should have forbidden the making of mischief in the earth, except a few of those whom We delivered from among them? And those who were unjust went after what they are made to enjoy of plenty, and they were guilty. 116 And thy Lord is not one to destroy cities wrongously while the inhabitants thereof are rectifiers. 117 And if thy Lord had willed, He verily would have made mankind one nation, yet they cease not differing, 118 Except him on whom your Lord has bestowed His Mercy (the follower of truth - Islamic Monotheism) and for that did He create them. And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled (i.e. His Saying): "Surely, I shall fill Hell with jinns and men all together." 119 We have told you the stories of the prophets to make your heart firm and in these accounts truth has come to you, with an exhortation and a reminder for the believers. 120 And say to the disbelievers, “Keep on with your works in your places; we are carrying out ours.” 121 And do wait for the end of things; we too are waiting. 122 To God belong the secrets of the heavens and the earth, and all things will go back to Him. So worship Him and put your trust in Him; your Lord is not heedless of what you do. 123
