And when the caravan had departed, their father said: surely feel the smell of Yusuf, if ye think not that I am doting. 94 His people said, "By God, you are still making the same old error". 95 So when the bearer of good news came he cast it on his face, so forthwith he regained his sight. He said: Did I not say to you that I know from Allah what you do not know? 96 Said (the sons): "O our father, pray for us that our sins be forgiven, for we are really sinners." 97 He said, "I will ask forgiveness for you from my Lord. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." 98 Then, when they entered unto Yusuf (Joseph), he betook his parents to himself and said: "Enter Egypt, if Allah wills, in security." 99 And he raised his parents upon the throne, and they bowed to him in prostration. And he said, "O my father, this is the explanation of my vision of before. My Lord has made it reality. And He was certainly good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you [here] from bedouin life after Satan had induced [estrangement] between me and my brothers. Indeed, my Lord is Subtle in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise. 100 ۞ "O my Lord! Thou hast indeed bestowed on me some power, and taught me something of the interpretation of dreams and events,- O Thou Creator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my Protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Take Thou my soul (at death) as one submitting to Thy will (as a Muslim), and unite me with the righteous." 101 That is of the tidings of the Unseen that We reveal to thee; thou wast not with them when they agreed upon their plan, devising. 102 Yet, be thou ever so eager, the most part of men believe not. 103 Thou askest of them no wage for it; it is nothing but a reminder unto all beings. 104
