And assuredly We have set constellations in the heaven and made it fairseeming unto the beholders 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
