We have placed the signs of the Zodiac in the sky, and decked it out for those who can see; 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 And indeed We know those among you who came forward and indeed We know those among you who remained behind. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
