And assuredly We have created human being from ringing clay of loam moulded. 26 And the jinn, We had created them afore of the fire of the scroching wind. 27 And recall when your Lord said to the angels, “I will create man from sounding clay made out of black smelly mud.” 28 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down making obeisance to him. 29 So, the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together. 30 Not so Iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated themselves. 31 He said: O Iblis! what excuse have you that you are not with those who make obeisance? 32 He said: "It does not behove of me to prostrate myself before a human being whom You have created out of dry ringing clay wrought from black mud." 33 God told him, "Get out of the garden; you are rejected 34 And surely on you is curse until the day of judgment. 35 Iblis said: "My Lord! Grant me respite till the Day when they will be resurrected." 36 Allah said: "For sure you are granted respite 37 Until the Day of the time well-known." 38 He said: my Lord! because Thou hast led me to err I will surely make things fairseeming unto them on the earth and will surely seduce them all: 39 except for Your chosen servants." 40 (To which God) said: "This way is right by Me. 41 No power shall you have over (all) My creatures except those who fall into error and follow you, 42 Hell is the promised place for them all. 43 It has seven gates, and through each gate a portion of them belong. 44
