We have created the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay 26 As We fashioned jinns before from intense radiated heat. 27 When your Lord said to the angels, "I will create the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay. 28 When it is properly shaped and I have blown My Spirit into it, you should then bow down in prostration". 29 So the angels fell prostrate, all of them together 30 Except Iblis. He refused to bow with the adorers. 31 God asked Iblis, "What made you not join the others in prostration?" 32 "How could I bow," said he, "before a mortal whom You created from fermented clay dried tingling hard?" 33 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here; for thou art rejected, accursed. 34 And verily on thee shall be the curse till the Day of Requital. 35 He said: 'My Lord, reprieve me till the Day they are raised' 36 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 37 till that Appointed Day." 38 [Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all 39 except those of Your servants whom You have singled out for Yourself." 40 He (Allah) said: 'This is for Me the Right Path 41 Surely, you shall have no power over My true servants, except those misguided ones who choose to follow you. 42 And surely Hell is the promised place of them all: 43 It has seven gates; for each gate is a portion assigned from them. 44
