VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 'Enter you them, in peace and security!' 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 And inform them of Ibrahim’s guests. 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 He said: What is your business then, O apostles? 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
