"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 There, no fatigue shall smite them, nor shall they ever be driven from it' 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My punishment-- that is the painful punishment. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to him and said: "Peace," he answered: "Truly we are afraid of you." 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said: Do you give me good news (of a son) when old age has come upon me?-- Of what then do you give me good news! 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He said: what is your errand, sent ones? 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 barring Lot's household, all of whom, behold, we shall save 59 Except his wife, of whom We had decreed that she should be of those who stay behind. 60
