VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other. 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 Except the family of Lot; indeed, we will save them all 59 Except his wife; We ordained that she shall surely be of those who remain behind. 60
