Then when the sent ones entered unto the household of Lut. 61 he said, "You seem to be strangers". 62 They said: "Nay, we have come to you with that (torment) which they have been doubting. 63 And bring thee the Truth, and lo! we are truth-tellers. 64 Leave the town with your family sometime during the night. Walk behind them and let no one turn around. Proceed as you are commanded." 65 And We communicated to him the decree that by the morning those people will be totally destroyed. 66 Then came the people of the city, exulting at the news. 67 rushed towards the house of Lot. Lot said to them, "These are my guests. Do not disgrace me. 68 And keep your duty to Allah, and shame me not! 69 "Did we not restrain you," they said, "from (entertaining) creatures from the outside world?" 70 He said, 'These are my daughters, if you would be doing.' 71 By your life! they were blindly wandering on in their intoxication. 72 At sunrise a dreadful Shout seized them. 73 And We turned the city upside down, and rained on them stones of hardened lava. 74 Verily, in all this there are messages indeed for those who can read the signs: 75 it is still there on the highway -- 76 Verily in that is a sign for the believers. 77 The dwellers of the Wood (near Midian) were also wicked. 78 So We punished them too. They are both situated by the highway, clearly visible. 79

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
