And when the messengers came to the family of Lot, 61 He said: Surely you are an unknown people. 62 They said: Nay, we have come to you with that about which they disputed. 63 and we are bringing thee the certainty [of its fulfilment]: for, behold, we are speaking the truth indeed. 64 Depart with your family in a part of the night and walk behind them and let none of you turn round. Go to a place where you are commanded' 65 We communicated to him Our decree that the guilty ones would be destroyed by the morning. 66 And the people of the city came rejoicing. (* To the house of Prophet Lut.) 67 He said: "These are my guests, so do not disgrace me. 68 Fear Allah and do not disgrace me' 69 They said, “Had we not forbidden you from meddling in the affairs of anyone?” 70 He said: these are my daughters, if act ye must. 71 By your life, they wandered blindly in their dazzlement. 72 So they were seized by the mighty blast at break of day; 73 And We turned (the towns of Sodom in Palestine) upside down and rained down on them stones of baked clay. 74 Lo! therein verily are portents for those who read the signs. 75 That town lies on a road which still exists. 76 Indeed in that is a sign for the believers. 77 And the dwellers of the wood surely were wrong-doers. 78 So We took vengeance on them. And verily both are on a high-road open. 79

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
