And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. 86 We have given you the seven dual (verses, Al Fatihah) and the Mighty Holy Reading (Koran). 87 Strain not thine eyes toward that which We cause some wedded pairs among them to enjoin, and be not grieved on their account, and lower thy wing (in tenderness) for the believers. 88 and clearly tell the unbelievers: "I am most certainly a plain warner," 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 Therefore, by your Lord, We shall question every one of them. 92 About their deeds. 93 So proclaim that which thou art commanded, and withdraw from the idolaters. 94 We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 Well know We that thy bosom is oppressed by what they say, 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 and worship your Lord until the last moment (of your life) that will most certainly come. 99
