Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
People of Hijr rejected the Messengers. 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 All that they had acquired was of no avail to them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers. 88 And proclaim, “Indeed I, yes I, am the clear Herald of Warning.” 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 Those who made the Quran into shreds. 91 Now by thy Lord, We shall surely question them all together 92 for whatever they have done! 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 Those who set up another god with Allah; so they shall soon know. 96 We do indeed know how thy heart is distressed at what they say. 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 and worship your Lord until the last moment (of your life) that will most certainly come. 99
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
