Surely the people of al-Hijr also rejected the Messengers, calling them liars. 80 And though We had given them Our signs they turned away from them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the mountains (feeling themselves) secure. 82 Then the shout took hold of them in the early morn. 83 and that which they had earned did not help them. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 (Muhammad), We have given you the seven most repeated (verses) and the great Quran. 87 Strain not thine eyes. (Wistfully) at what We have bestowed on certain classes of them, nor grieve over them: but lower thy wing (in gentleness) to the believers. 88 And say: "I am indeed a plain warner." 89 Like as We sent down on the dividers 90 Those who break the Qur'an into parts. 91 Them, by thy Lord, We shall question, every one, 92 for what they have done 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 We shall help you against those who mock you 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 Indeed, We know that your breast is straitened at what they say. 97 But you should glorify your Lord with praises, and be among those who bow in submission; 98 And worship thy Lord until there cometh unto thee the certainty. 99
