The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. 1 He sends the angels with revelation by His command, to any of His creatures as He please, (saying): "Warn that there is no god but I, so fear Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth. Exalted is He above what they associate (with Him)! 3 He created man from a sperm-drop; then at once, he is a clear adversary. 4 He created the cattle from whom you get warm clothing and (other) advantages, and some you eat. 5 And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture). 6 and they bear your loads unto a land that you never would reach, excepting with great distress. Surely your Lord is All-clement, All-compassionate. 7 And [it is He who creates] horses and mules and asses for you to ride, as well as for [their] beauty: and He will yet create things of which [today] you have no knowledge. 8 Some paths lead away from God but one must follow the path that leads to God. Had God wanted, He could have guided (all to the right path). 9
