The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The Event (the Hour or the punishment of disbelievers and polytheists or the Islamic laws or commandments), ordained by Allah will come to pass, so seek not to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate as partners with Him. 1 He sends down the angels with the soul of faith – the divine revelations – towards those among His bondmen He wills that, “There is no worship except for Me, therefore fear Me.” 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth. Exalted is He above what they associate (with Him)! 3 He created man out of a mere drop of fluid, and lo! he turned into an open wrangler. 4 And the cattle hath He created, whence ye have warm clothing and uses, and whereof ye eat; 5 How beautiful you find them when you bring them home and when you drive them out to graze. 6 And they carry your loads to a land that you could not reach except with great trouble to yourselves. Truly, your Lord is full of Kindness, Most Merciful. 7 He has created horses, mules and donkeys, so that you may ride them, and also so that they may be put on show, and He creates other things beyond your knowledge. 8 God's it is to show the way; and some do swerve from it. If He willed, He would have guided you all together. 9
