The Bee (Al-nahl)
128 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Cave (Al-Kahf) before Noah (Noah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ The commandment of Allah will come to pass, so seek not ye to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate (with Him). 1 He sends down the angels, with the inspiration of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], "Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me." 2 He created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose. He is exalted above anything they associate with Him. 3 Man He created from a drop of semen; and still he becomes an open contender. 4 And He created the cattle for you; you have in them warm clothing and (many) advantages, and of them do you eat. 5 And wherein is beauty for you, when you bring them home in the evening, and as you lead them forth to pasture in the morning. 6 They carry your loads to places which you could otherwise not reach without great hardship, surely, your Lord is compassionate and merciful, 7 And horses, and mules, and asses, for you to ride, and as an adornment; and He creates what you know not. 8 To God leads the right path, though some deviate. If He willed He could guide you all to the right way. 9
