۞ God says: 'Take not to you two gods. He is only One God; so have awe of Me.' 51 And His is whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth, and unto Him is obedience due perpetually; will ye then fear any other than Allah? 52 Whatsoever blessing you have, it comes from God; then when affliction visits you it is unto Him that you groan. 53 Then, when He has removed the harm from you, behold! Some of you associate others in worship with their Lord (Allah). 54 In the end you will reject Our bounties. Enjoy yourselves; you will soon know (the consequences of your deeds). 55 As it is, they ascribe - out of what We provide for them as sustenance - a share unto things of which they know nothing. By God, you shall most certainly be called to account for all your false imagery! 56 And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire. 57 When the glad news of the birth of their daughter is brought to them, their faces turn gloomy and black with anger. 58 With shame does he hide himself from his people, because of the bad news he has had! Shall he retain it on (sufferance and) contempt, or bury it in the dust? Ah! what an evil (choice) they decide on? 59 Those who do not believe in the Hereafter deserve to be characterized with evil attributes whereas Allah's are the most excellent attributes. He is the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 60
