۞ God commands justice, kindness and giving their [due to] near relatives, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and transgression. He admonishes you so that you may take heed! 90 And fulfil the covenant of Allah when ye have covenanted, and violate not the oaths after the ratification thereof, and surely ye have appointed Allah a surety over you. Verily Allah knoweth that which ye do. 91 And do not be like she who untwisted her spun thread after it was strong [by] taking your oaths as [means of] deceit between you because one community is more plentiful [in number or wealth] than another community. Allah only tries you thereby. And He will surely make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that over which you used to differ. 92 And had Allah willed, He could have made you (all) one nation, but He sends astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. But you shall certainly be called to account for what you used to do. 93 And do not take your oaths as [means of] deceit between you, lest a foot slip after it was [once] firm, and you would taste evil [in this world] for what [people] you diverted from the way of Allah, and you would have [in the Hereafter] a great punishment. 94 And do not exchange the covenant of Allah to procure an abject price; that which is with Allah is better for you, if you know. 95 What you have shall pass away, but what is with God is lasting. We will certainly give those who are patient their reward according to the best of their actions. 96 Whoever does good whether male or female and he is a believer, We will most certainly make him live a happy life, and We will most certainly give them their reward for the best of what they did. 97 And when thou wouldst read the Qur'an seek refuge with Allah from Satan the damned. 98 Surely he has no authority over those who believe and rely on their Lord. 99 Satan’s power is only over those who make friendship with him and ascribe him as a partner (in worship). 100
