Abraham was a community in himself devoted to God and true in faith, He was not one of the polytheists; 120 Grateful for His favors; He chose him and guided him on the right path. 121 And We gave him goodness in this world; and indeed in the Hereafter he is worthy of proximity. 122 So We commanded you to follow the way of Abraham the upright who was not of idolaters. 123 The Sabbath was only enjoined on those who differed about it. Your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection regarding the things about which they differed. 124 Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation and reason with them in a way that is best. Your Lord knows best those who have strayed away from His path, and He knows best those who are rightly guided. 125 Hence, if you have to respond to an attack [in argument,] respond only to the extent of the attack levelled against you; but to bear yourselves with patience is indeed far better for [you, since God is with] those who are patient in adversity. 126 And bear with patience, (O Muhammad) - and your patience is only because of the help of Allah - and do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed by their evil plans. 127 For Allah is with those who restrain themselves, and those who do good. 128
