Lo! Abraham was a nation obedient to Allah, by nature upright, and he was not of the idolaters; 120 ever thankful for His favors. He chose him and He guided him to a Straight Path. 121 And We gave him Good in this world, and he will be, in the Hereafter, in the ranks of the Righteous. 122 So We have taught thee the inspired (Message), "Follow the ways of Abraham the True in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah." 123 As for the Sabbath, it was made incumbent only on those who differed about its laws. Certainly your Lord will judge on the Day of Resurrection between them regarding the matters they disputed. 124 Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and have disputations with them in the best manner; surely your Lord best knows those who go astray from His path, and He knows best those who follow the right way. 125 And if you take your turn, then retaliate with the like of that with which you were afflicted; but if you are patient, it will certainly be best for those who are patient. 126 And be patient; yet is thy patience only with the help of God. And do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 127 Verily Allah is with those who fear and those who are well-doers. 128
