Tell also of Moses in the Book. He was indeed a chosen one, and was a messenger and a prophet. 51 And we called him from the right side of Mount (Sinai), and made him draw near to Us, for mystic (converse). 52 Out of Our mercy We gave him his brother Aaron who himself was a Prophet. 53 Commemorate Ishmael in the Book. He was true of his promise, and a messenger, a prophet. 54 He enjoined on his household worship and zakat, and he was obedient to his Lord. 55 And mention thou in the book ldris, verily he was a man of truth, a prophet. 56 We granted him a high position. 57 These are the ones whom God has favoured: the prophets from among the descendants of Adam and of those whom We carried in the Ark with Noah; the descendants of Abraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chosen. For when the revelations of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down, prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ But they are succeeded by a generation who neglect their devotional obligations and follow only earthly pleasures; but they will reach the wrong road and meet destruction, 59 Except those who repent, believe and do righteousness; for those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged at all. 60 Gardens of Eden that the All-merciful promised His servants in the Unseen; His promise is ever performed. 61 They will not hear any lewd talk in it, but only Peace; and in it for them is sustenance, every morning and evening. 62 Such is the Garden which We cause the devout among Our bondmen to inherit. 63 (The angels will say): "(O Muhammad!) We descend not except by the command of your Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us, and all that is in between. Your Lord is not forgetful in the least. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that which is betwixt the twain; so Him worship thou, and endure patiently in His worship; knowest thou any as His compeer? 65
