The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 We surely know best those most deserving of the fires of hell, 70 And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. 71 Then We shall deliver those that were godfearing; and the evildoers We shall leave there, hobbling on their knees. 72 When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, 'Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?' 73 We have destroyed so many generations before them, who surpassed them in material power and splendour. 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieveth in Our revelations and saith: Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children? 77 Has he seen the Hidden, or has he made a pact with the Most Gracious? 78 Absolutely not, We will record his words and prolong his punishment. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 And they have taken gods besides Allah, that they should be to them a source of strength; 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
