Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
