ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 And each of them is to come to Him on the Day of Judgment alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
