Do you not see that We have sent the Shaitans against the unbelievers, inciting them by incitement? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 although it is inconceivable that the Most Gracious should take unto Himself a son! 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 indeed, He has full cognizance of them, and has numbered them with [unfailing] numbering; 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
