T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Ha. 1 We did not bestow the Qur'an on thee from on high to make thee unhappy, 2 only as reminder for those who have fear (of disobeying God). 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 (Allah) Most Gracious is firmly established on the throne (of authority). 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and all that is in between, and all that is beneath the soil. 6 And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden. 7 God -- there is no god but He. To Him belong the Names Most Beautiful. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa? 9 When he saw fire, he said to his family: Stop, for surely I see a fire, haply I may bring to you therefrom a live coal or find a guidance at the fire. 10 But when he came to the fire, a voice was heard: "O Moses! 11 "Verily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa. 12 And I have chosen thee, so hearken unto that which is inspired. 13 “Indeed it is Me, Allah – there is no God except I – therefore worship Me and keep the prayer established for My remembrance.” 14 Indeed, the Hour is coming - I almost conceal it - so that every soul may be recompensed according to that for which it strives. 15 "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. 16 "What do you have in your right hand, Moses?" 17 Moses answered: "This is my staff. I lean on it (when I walk), and with it I beat down leaves for my flock, and I have many other uses for it." 18 God said, "Moses, cast it down." 19 So Moosa put it down – thereupon it became a fast moving serpent. 20 Allah said:"Grasp it, and fear not, We shall return it to its former state, 21 And press thy hand to thy side, it will come forth white, without hurt, as another sign. 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh, he has become insolent' 24
